Reviving Indigenous Languages
Come with us as we discuss her research on the Jagera language with PhD student Hana Hamilton. Through empowering communities, it is possible to enrich methods of revitalising endangered languages. We learn about community-based research, maintaining good practices, and becoming aware of cultural and historical barriers and trauma.
We acknowledge the Yagara and Turrbal people, who are the rightful owners of this knowledge. We thank the community members who have helped Hana with her research for imparting their knowledge.
